2020年(nián)英國(guó)年(nián)度天文攝影大(dà)賽日(rì)前揭曉，其中攝影師(shī)Nicolas Lefaudeux在本屆賽事中脫穎而出，奪得(de)全場大(dà)獎及獎金10000英鎊，同時獲得(de)星系組冠軍及獎金1500英鎊，成績優異。同時在星系組中，攝影師(shī)Mark Hanson獲得(de)亞軍及500英鎊，以及攝影師(shī)Juan-Carlos Munoz-Mateos獲優秀獎及250英鎊。

        本賽事由英國(guó)國(guó)家海事博物館和格林威治皇家天文台共同主辦，由insight investment贊助。國(guó)家海洋博物館董事會是代表格林威治皇家博物館（RMG）的法律機(jī)構，包括大(dà)賽組織者格林威治皇家天文台、國(guó)家海事博物館、皇後之家和卡蒂薩克。設有星系組、極光(guāng)組、月亮組、太陽組、人(rén)類與空間組、行星/彗星和小行星組、天空景觀組、恒星和星雲組這八個組别。
